Ventilated shoe with a system that pumps air into the interior volume of the shoe
- A training shoe with the facility for free airflow through the base of the shoe for additional comfort and performance
- Specially designed with a pump mechanism which replaces warm and moist air within the shoe with cooler and dryer ambient air
- The pump mechanism comprises a unidirectional inlet valve in communication with an air chamber in the sole of the shoe and a number of air conduits leading from the air chamber into the interior volume of the shoe
- When the wearer treads on the heel of the shoe the air chamber is elastically compressed and air is pumped along the air conduits into the interior volume of the shoe
- When the wearer then releases pressure from the air chamber, the air chamber elastically reforms to its original shape and draws air through the inlet valve into the air chamber
